Ever Green Recycling Card
Ever Green Recycling is advancing customer service through our new Ever Green Recycling Card service. Ever Green Recycling Card is a loyalty, customer self serve system designed to reduce or eliminate customer waiting times, and provide an electronic record of recycling transactions that Ever Green Recycling Card members can access from their home through a secure connection. By using this system, members will be able to save recycling money in their Ever Green Account which can be accessed whenever they wish, ( allow 7 - 10 days for processing and mail out of cheques), and/or donate recyclables and obtain a charitable receipt for income tax purposes.
Ever Green Recycling Card will be introduced during the coming year, first to members who wish to donate materials and receive a charitable tax receipt – Ever Green being a registered charity. A charitable tax receipt can help you save on your tax bill, with a saving of $30 or more depending on the member’s annual charitable contributions.
Within the coming year, Ever Green membership will be made available to those who wish to donate to other participating charities, including schools and community groups that have registered with Ever Green to be recognized as a participating group, to support their fund-raising efforts, as well as institutional, commercial and industrial clients who would like to set up an account, and finally all individual account holders.
How does it work?
Ever Green Recycling Card members will obtain a specially issued swipe card from any of our four operating locations. Members will then go online to register their card. When returning recyclables, members will be directed to the recycling card area, where bar-coded stickers will be placed on the bags that contain your recyclables. Your bar-coded container is then stored for later counting, saving or eliminating your waiting time.
Ever Green Recycling Card members can then go online and view account information at our Ever Green web site to view account information through a secure connection.
